Caviar Consulting / About
Caviar Consulting is led by Jared Abramowitz, a CPA who has prepared the filings, built the solutions, and sat on the review side of both.
Started in external audit, which is where you learn what evidence actually means and why a number without support is not a number. Joined Workiva to deliver SEC reporting and XBRL tagging for public filers, working on the platform from the inside rather than learning it as a customer. Then spent years at Deloitte designing and delivering reporting solutions for global organizations, with a concentration in sustainability and carbon accounting.
Caviar Consulting exists to deliver that work directly, on engagements that benefit from senior attention throughout rather than only at the review points.
Engagements are taken selectively, so each one gets real attention. The person who scopes an engagement is the person who delivers it, owns the detail through every review, and is the point of contact when something changes. Questions get answered the same day. Deliverables are built to be used rather than presented.
Scope is agreed before anything starts. If an engagement genuinely requires a bench of twenty people, you will hear that in the first conversation rather than the third month.
Based in Denver, Colorado. Engagements run remotely, with travel where it genuinely helps: an audit kickoff, an implementation launch, or the first weeks of a transition.
Reporting work used to require volume, and consulting economics were built around supplying it. That constraint is disappearing as the mechanical middle of the work compresses. What is left is judgment: what the numbers mean, whether the methodology holds, and whether the process would survive someone looking closely at it.
That is a good change for clients. It means fewer people in the loop, shorter cycles, and senior attention on every decision instead of only the escalated ones. It is also the reason a practice this size can take on work that used to require a much larger team.
Public and private companies across manufacturing, financial services, and technology, typically working with a controller, reporting lead, or sustainability owner who is accountable for the outcome and needs senior capacity rather than a team of generalists.
